harrier
Thanks for the comments and for the emails, Dave, the set up is very simple the camera is fixed to one of my retired quads which has been adapted to rigidly hold the camera mount, the camera direction is set up on the ground then its just fly then "point and shoot". The camera is a Pentax Optio W10 or 20, cant remember, there is very little difference between the 10,20 or 30 apart from the pixel counts for stills, the telescopic lens is an internal setup so no fragile moving parts on the outside, and waterproof. John, the quad is marginaly larger than a standard 1.5 with a similar amount of venting but a much different mesh layout, it does hold a decent horizontal hover with the added weight. The pic was clipped from a vid taken on a previous day.

kairusan
That was one of the coolest Rev videos I've ever seen. Not just the perspective, but also the location, conditions, flying quality, flying style, music, and even kite designs synchronized perfectly to make something truly awesome. Excellent work! poolking
Cool video, love it. As a KAPper, single line kites, learning to fly our new rev, this is great. I need to get a camera mount made for the rev before SPI kite fest. Mike, Peggy & Cali
