Baloo is right, lucky winner is Jeepster. :)

John,

Thank you very much for the donation of the kite and the contest. And Mr. Random, thanks for picking out my number!

I apologize for missing the drawing ... fell asleep on the sofa ... woke up to a phone call from my son asking if I'd like to sell my new kite. He's been bitten by the Quad bug this month. Since he took the picture in the entry, I'll probably have to share the kite with him.

Again thanks, I'll fly the kite with pride,

Tom

Yep! Will still have dreams of purple, but I'm sure a kite accented in Lime will heal the wounds.

Thanks putting up with the teasing ...

No bother at all Tom ;):D

"Purkle" (vented) and "Leela" send their regards.

So whatcha gonna call your new limey ?

John really did do this contest up right ... you're all active members of the forum, and as such, your screen names are easily recognizable. Makes me feel a little like I grabbed it out of the hands of friends. Not enough to refuse it, but certainly enough to share it with you if we ever show up at the same place.

Cheers,

Tom

Choccy,

I haven't given any of my kites names ... they're uppity enough ... barely can keep them under control as it is.

Might make an exception for this one ... let's see accented in lime ... limey ... "Brit" comes to mind. Stiff upper lip and all that ... no that won't work 'cuz it's an ultra light. Hmmm. Accented in lime, so it screams of a British an English heritage and it's lighter than most of the others. The name's right there on the tip of my tongue ... if only I could think of what it reminds me of ...

Cheers,

Tom

FYI, the one Limey on iQuad (Bazzer) happens to fly the lime kites. <grin>

John,

That would be cool ... could legitimately name it "Bazzer" and tell ppl I'm flying my Bazzer kite.

Bazzer definately qualifies under the British requirement, but with Papa Smurf (Mike Kory) around it's hard to identify Bazzer as the lightest of his mates.

Cheers,

Tom

Congrats Jeepster i'm truely jealous.

Also I figure it should be mentioned that this kite is a true custom SUL where as the LE is made from RIPSTOP as opposed to the lightweight Dacron that is normally used, that being said its allot more fragile but also much lighter so be careful with LE scrapes with this kite.

Bit of advice if your considering indoor flying you just got the perfect SUL to do it with.

Congrats again and good luck ya :censored::lol:
