beach Posted November 8, 2007 Report Share Posted November 8, 2007 Well Family we at Revolution are about to have a birthday and thats the 20th year of Revolution kites and being that this is a huge milestone in kitting we wanted to do something very special and that is the 20th year Anniversary Kite. This kite will be a 1.5 and will combine both the old and the new as far as sail pattern goes and we will frame this kite with our new Race Rods, each of the kites will be signed and dated by the brothers and this will be a limited run and then the pattern will be destroyed, never to be done again. This kite will come with the 20th anniversary logo done in gold and the Revolution logo also done in gold, it will come with the simple draw string bag with the 20th anniversary patch sewn on it as well and in my opinion is a must have for any and all Revolution fliers. That being said I just wanted to give you a peek at the rough of this wonderful part of kitting history and to let you know that after 20 years we as a company are alive and well and still made in the USA, so let there be no doubt we are the Revolution in kitting and want all of you who have been there with us to share the spirit and joy of still being the best................ We do have a standing order for the first batch that gets finished up and will have them available for purchase. Final pricing has not yet been established but it is said that they are going to be fairly affordable for a limited production kite. Much less than the Masterpiece series kites anyways. Personaly the only folks I have had electrical contact with are them and the service is great. I know the brothers "invented" Rev. Maybe the extra signatures could be by request? Making a ltd edition ltd edition. Can you let us know the price ASAP please. I have some kites planed, might be able to afford this one???? My birthday is 11th Jan, could be my present to myself!! pudsli Posted November 11, 2007 Report Share Posted November 11, 2007 Hi all, seem's i got off on the wrong foot with my first post about the 20th anivversary rev. the pic john sent of the old and new revs is a good one. why not put the grey pannels of the b series on to the old rev,yes i know it is a rev1,but it could be made in s.l.e standard size. i think would make for a better looking kite, better than the design they have at the moment. that is only my opinion thogh. all the best steve.
