Stephen Hoath
Wow, this is a great tool. Having flown Rev Team for over 10 years now I have helped a good number of pilots get up to speed. Whilst it gets easier every time, this tool is going to make the whole process a lot simpler. Many thanks. On a similar note, for this year in Berck I wrote a mega team ballet that could be learned simply and quickly. The challenges were multiple languages and varied expertise. The routine works best with 12 people but can be adapted for any number from 3 upwards. I think it would be amazing if all the various teams around the world could learn/fly this routine and so I am posting it here for everyone to use. Originally the routine was written for The Flying Squad and we still use it every now and then. You will need to find/buy the music from elsewhere but the track is "Daydream in Blue" by I Monster. All the moves can be flown with the music so if you need some extra tips just let me know. Finally, the routine is a Powerpoint 2003 presentation and should be viewed using this version or later. I believe you can download a free viewer from the Microsoft homepage. So have fun, use it as you want and let me know what you think. (as long as it is all good ) Daydream_in_Blue.ppt
KiteLife
Stephen, very cool... But for those rare individuals (like me) without PowerPoint, how can I view this file?

Nice photo! Why do I always look like I am one bottle short of a six pack? Please have a go at the routine, it is quite simple and means the language challenges will not be so important next time In English - Ball In French - Bool In Spanish - Bolla I am slowy learning how to call in 5 languages. Haven't quite mastered American yet .... darn it
Stone in Shoe Bob
COOL way of presenting it Stephen. The French also have a novel approach, look for the split screen. I think Stephen has seen this but some of you guys in the US may not have done.

I think Stephen has seen this but some of you guys in the US may not have done. Hey Bob, I was there (I seem to remember the mother of all hangovers!) Steve Matchett & I then "flew" our pairs routine. I didn't really enjoy the kiss that much though!!!! On a slightly more serious note, this is actually a fantastic way of visualising complex moves. .....feel the kite....... be the kite...... If you can't get a handle on a pass through burst, try running it! ps.... never go drinking with FLIC

On a slightly more serious note, this is actually a fantastic way of visualising complex moves. .....feel the kite....... be the kite...... I was thinking the same thing myself but wasn't sure if it was a good idea to admit to it. If you can't get a handle on a pass through burst, try running it! Sorry no can do, that's why they call me Stone in Shoe. Never noticed the Limp?

monkey
doing dance moves with the same as their kite moves.. i wonder if i could get john and monkey and quad kit to do this Oh, we have before, its on that first Wildwood video and we've done it recently at the Long Beach Clinic this past March. As Stephen suggests, its a great way to drive the point home on complex moves, and it's justa lot of fun as well. Me, I thought drinking with FLIC was the MOST fun in Berck and Portsmouth
rcom714
Great fun watching that routine both indoors and outdoors. One question though................ How does one incorporate the dog seen at approx 3:40 into the outdoor routine?

I must have words with Flic about the team acquiring a new spirit adviser. They need some guiding away from the bright side. My services are always available. big bri
Its about two years ago since Stephen and his family ventured onto a cold and very windy Ainsdale beech. Myself and i think ten other Revolution flyers awaited the arrival with some nervous anticipation.Stephen,Susan and the boys spent all weekend helping shape our skills and knowledge.Moves that thanks to that effort over the weekend.Have now become the Standard Team moves.Weve passed that knowledge on many times since. Thanks again Stephen ,Susan and the boys. Ive posted the link to the Ballet on our Club Forum.Hope thats ok with ya. Thanks for the care and share mate BRIAN...
