Choccy +1

Nice new white and sky blue 1.5 2007 design courtesy of Ben :):blue-love:

Okay John, put me down for one more ... this is not going well ... every time Choccy gets a free kite, I end up buying one. I would ask what's wrong with me, but that would start a whole new thread.

The count is now:

1 SUL ... Gold and Raspberry

1 B-series non-vented ... Purple

1 B-series vented ... Gold

:blue-confused:

In an effort to have a bit of truth in ownership to my list, I have made changes to my Rev listing. I have thinned the herd to those Rev's that I will definitely fly and not just sit in the bag.

So I previously had 13 listed, I have thinned to the following.

Rev I Sedgewick Series

Rev I vented

Rev 1.5 Vented

Rev B Series Std

Rev B Series Vented

Rev Masterpiece Series

I have one additional Rev I, early series that I will be passing on soon, so it is not in the count.

My bag now has the kites that I fly. I guess I could say, the B Series made me a believer and I thinned the SLE's and my SLE 1.5. SUL (Race Rods in a B series STD fixed that issue.) Bye bye Rev II, Blast and Supersonic.

So mark me at a contented 6. :blue_wink:

Yes Welcome Martvb60 ...

Of the 13 kites in my bag you are welcome to buy 12 of them to get you started as it seems a vented B is all you need in this country these days ;)

New RevII update. 15 mph winds all morning.

Man that kite is fast and fun. I think if I flew only the Rev II for a few weeks and went back to the 1.5 it would seem like slow motion! I've said it before but, flying all these different Revs has got to make me a better flyer of each.

Hi my next kite by end of month is JB series Lime/Black but do i go vented or un vented?

Personally regarding the British autumn/winter high winds, I'd chose vented.

Hoping to save pennies in time for next spring (Mid-Vent),

then there is the supersonic..... and Rev 1

arghhhh too many, make the world stop spinning I wanna get off

I'm not high maintenance but my kites are ^_^

Thanks choccy for the advice,i did try Kev of BKF vented JB at the Portsmouth Rev Clinic and really liked it. Trouble is my girlfriends grandson wants one as well so is it a good kite for a novice to learn on?

Indeedy, I learnt on the Blue vented B:

it's great for handling the overpowering that can cause a standard to 'bowtie' and tumble.

And it smooths out the bumpy wind we've been experiencing, making it more pleasurable to fly :)

Good luck and enjoy your new kite smell.
