LS Kite Stakes
I have another thing I am excited about. I just received a shipment of hand made marbles from Davis Glass of West Virginia. They are stunning! I have also ordered carabiners for use on kite stake holsters as a new way to clip them on a belt loop or pocket. Had to come up with some new and shiny just for the festival! bartman
Just an update on the insurance angle. I did email AKA and got zero reply to my questions. I am going to see if I can do this through my personal insurance here. It is disappointing that AKA can't respond to some simple questions. There needs to be some flexible membership options and better turn around time on questions for me to even be remotely interested in the organization. bartman
For those from Canada who have home owners insurance... You may be covered and not need AKA insurance. My home owners package policy includes personal liability that covers me wherever I go. If I dust off someone with a golf ball or a loose golf club I'm covered so no different if I hurt someone with the kite. So for others who are also concerned check with your insurance agency, you may be fine without incurring additional expense. i would suspect that if you own a house and have insurance you are covered too. terry w
when ever we travel into the states, i take out extra health insurance at my local insurance outlet cost me $5 a day not sure what other provinces are like for that service . it would be an very interesting to see how difficult it would be to reimbursed for any incurred cost with home insurance .... usually the injured party pays first then attempts to collect from the insurance company .... good luck see ya at WSKIF cheers Terry ISLAND QUAD

I have health insurance through my work to travel to the USA. Also try CAA for medical insurance. About $2.00/day and you do not need to be a member to buy it.
