bartman
Hey Bart, don't forget your kites... I guess that would be the obvious thing, but for some reason that's not the nagging thing in my head. -Alden Lines? Ground stake? Rum offerings for Bazz and Steve? Rain gear (not likely from the look of it...but ya never know) Suntan lotion? Hat? All but the rum, maybe that was it. Bart
monkey
All but the rum, maybe that was it. Bart " pyrat " and it's far cheaper in the US
AldenMiller
All but the rum, maybe that was it. Bart I hear that they are all partial to Tequila anyway... -Alden Can you believe it, three more days and I'll be there (I admit I started planning my packing tonight). You might meet my dad. From waaayyy across the pond in Germany. His first first kitfestival with age 82! Haven't posted much but I'm exited anyway. BTW everybody is talking about rum and tequilla... I started to cook my own beer 6 weeks ago. Nothing extraordinary yet but every batch was better that Budwiser. Does that count too? Jim Foster
Lynn and I got to Long Beach last evening around 8. Friends who have been here for several days have had overcast and very little or no wind. We woke up this morning to bright sunlight, and around noon the wind started and blew the rest of the day. From about 2 on it was vented time. Tom King, Bob Oliver and Bill Seward joined us at the end of Bolstad. Nice day. Fives are fun Edited August 14, 2010 by Jim Foster

Jim Foster
Today was nearly a repeat yesterday. We woke up this morning to bright sunlight, and around noon the wind started and blew the rest of the day. From about 2 on it was vented time. Tom King, Bob Oliver and Bill Seward joined us at the end of Bolstad. Watty showed up later in the day after the others had stopped flying, so I played a little longer. It's "Happy Hour" and we are getting happier by the minute. Edited August 15, 2010 by Jim Foster
