It would be good to have material available for the festival web site/s. Taking this one slight step further on, please could all the teams and fliers think about providing details of personnel and the background/history of their activity in kiting. OK we have been asking for names so far! This is the next step... <grins> Let me know your thoughts! (that is directed at all the participants!!!) I had a great weekend last year as ground crew with the Flying Squad and had already offered my services for this year. We hope to be able to help people who are coming in one way or another but it will ultimately depend on the number as budgets are not unlimited! Accommodation wise we are fortunate to have the University Halls of Residence within walking distance of the flying site so everyone should be able to be in the same place (if they want!). I think after reading Stevies post he is as usual, underestimateing his own ability and being a little cautious,just incase he stitches us REVALATIONS, with a manual labour task,litter patrol,brewing up,or line testers. Hi Steve, As I said in a previous post as long as 'someone' can provide confirmation of flying ability I am sure that it will be possible to include individual fliers in the event 'in some way'. In the meantime, if any individual is hoping to fly please could they make that clear. We have had a number of volunteers for ground crew as well. If you see fit or if appropriate... 14 years on a Rev ( with original Magic QUAD STICKS) now flying naked B-SERIES the same only different) AKA national champ Indoor and Outdoor. Thanks again looking forward to meeting a bunch of new friends across the pond. I was in Dieppe in 1998 world championships I got to meet a few people, Guido, from Italy, Speedy, Where is Speedy Gugenhiem?? looking forward to seeing those guys again, Is Guido going to UK?? I flew with High Flyers Too (dual line) Gaudalope and individual Quad in Dieppe. I was sick sleeping on some tables during wind delay at Quad comp. If I see your face I will remember!
