big bri
Southern Softies eh? Check out the real flyer, dead centre top pic, going through the moves, someone has nicked his handles, no gloves, hands not stuffed in pockets, looks like one tough southerner to me. Well ,ive absolutely no Answer to that.Only that i agree, totally. And Ther was four tough southerners.Susan joined in and helped us along with the moves. It made it more intresting and fun[my kinds Lady, what a Lady she is].The two young boys i couldnt put in words what we all think of them.Ther not just a a credit to ther Parents.Ther two Lovely young men.Dan who already show a maturety way beyond his years. With a disapline you rarely see in the young Today. Not a peep from either all weekend. Two Diamonds who both take after ther Father. BRIAN
dave b
WOW what a great weekend that was!!! As can be seen from the previous posts & pictures, it was a little bit cold but that didn't matter as we were out flying REV's with great company for two whole days. Fantastic. After brief introductions stephen was soon putting us through our paces. By lunchtime saturday we were flying in team formation which was a great achievement for those who had never flown team before. Sunday we practised more shapes & figures working our way to flying a six man team routine later in the afternoon. Great! Everyone who was there Big Bri, Steve (pudsli), Jan, Clare, Andy, Fraser & myself got loads from the weekend and raised thier skills to the next level. I got loads of tips & help from stephen on calling team moves/routines. Many many thanks to Stephen, Susan & their children (who were absolute stars all weekend) for a super weekend. See you all at the next one. Dave.

pudsli
hi ballo. not one of our best flying, that was one of the early attemps. the one on the left was clare, never flown with 120ft lines or in a team. she has only been flying a rev for a few months. thrown in at the deep end. jan could not video The Revalations, as he was flying with us. thanks must go to stephen and susan again for all the hard work they put in to the weekend. that young son of there's was the real star. never heard a peep out of him all weekend, not bad for a 6 month old, a credit to his parents. i know i have 4 kids under the age of 10. all the best steve

For those interested there will be a gathering of Rev addicts at Dunstable Downs (good cafe and warm toilets!). This will be a very informal day but please try and ensure that you have insurance cover in any event. For details of the flying site go to http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/main/w-vh/...hipsnadeestate/ We can promise that there will be no problem with the tides and that it is one of the best views from a flying site in the country (now there's a debate to have) See you there. Stone in Shoe Bob
* * * News Flash * * * Stephen has asked Gary and I to do some accommodation research. The link at the bottom of this post was probably our most promising candidate there are one or two wrinkles to be ironed out but people may decide they are prepared to live with those as they are currently offering Family rooms (they say sleeps 4 but I wouldn’t recommend that) for £19.00 per night the w/e we are looking at. http://www.travelodge.co.uk/find_a_hotel/h...stableHockliffe
