antman
That one picture of all of us smiling so hard was when I think Ant was leading from the middle. That was a fun time and way more confusing then even leading from the left. But you can see that even though we were freezing cold, we had a blast! good eye ang i do the middle lead thing to mees with people and it worked.. that was soo funny when me and bob crashed in the enad ofthat goodfly .. i even amazed my self on that one.. it was the longest middle call fly i ever held on to.. 42 mins and 8 seconds .. i counted in my head .... wufer
A bit of info please. On the USA flag revs; how is the shading done. I can understand how the waves are done, but i cant see how the shading is done. I think it's spray paint, but i might be wrong. Derek. I've seen the kites up close, and yes, touched the shading. Its not sewn on; it seems to be some sort of airbrush. Don't know its longevity etc, but thats what it is! RAWVEEDA
@wufer (Derek) Bazzer uses a lot of airbrushing in his designs. You should give him a shout. I am sure he would talk shop with you. The eyes have a lot of airbrushing on them too. I guess the real trick is getting the paint/ink/dye to stick to the fabric. PS. 1 more word after seeing your kite at Liberty last weekend. AMAZING! You are right up there with the other Masterpieces. - Steve
wufer
Steve, thanks. But as for your PS, give up man your making me blush . Yes Bazzer is good guy; i had a problem with this kite, and a quick word with him sorted things out. Anyway, way off topic, we'll have that skinny guy who,s not bad with revs on our backs soon Derek. Baloo
I am fairly sure I remember Bazzer mentioning that he could not use certain colours due to the fact the paint would not stick to the kite material. Derek, I like your monster kite. Not too far off that Batman one I mentioned to you.
Choccy
Derek, I like your monster kite. Not too far off that Batman one I mentioned to you. Hey Baloooooooooo haven't you started on your Batman yet ? Airbrushing: yup best to be seen up close on the masterpieces to appreciate the work gone into it. WayneReed
The best pictures Barb & I took are here: http://www.revkites.com/forum/index.php?au...r&user=2157 I don't think I have any good videos of the group to share from this event, as my wife shot most of the video of my feeble attempts at team flying. Suitable only perhaps for a bloopers video, although I might put up a video from a previous gathering at Belmar, NJ after some editing. AdventureAng
I am fairly sure I remember Bazzer mentioning that he could not use certain colours due to the fact the paint would not stick to the kite material. Yeah, I wanted pink eyes and he couldn't do them for me because the paint wouldn't stick

AdventureAng
Well, you HAVE to admit, it WAS pretty cold out there. Hehe. Anyway, I can't wait to see all the pictures. The pictures I've seen so far have been so great and it WAS a very memorable day flying (even though I was only there for half the day because I was too cold and had to leave). Okay Jersey crew, when are we going over the pond to visit Big Bri?
