So do Stephen and Felix get paid for doing the clinic ? ;)

Whatever gave you that idea? <grins>

I think that John had suggested we would be allowed to observe!

As you well know, I do not 'lead' the team when flying. Andy, Jacob and Mark look after that.

I might have some insight in respect of individual flying... and possibly the grid format, but the latter is purely speculative at this stage.

I will, all being well, stay on in Portsmouth on the Monday as a volunteer! (There will be no civilians)

  • 3 weeks later...

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you Barry. :)

30 slots filled, only 5 available now.

We'll take registrations up until the moment the clinic begins, until we reach the cap of 35 registrants. ;)

Also, to address another facet which came up elsewhere on the forum...

iQuad members will be sharing all the tips and tricks that (I) we use, and they'll be expressed with great confidence... But make no mistake, it is merely a buffet of information... There's no call for participants to conform or change anything they do, my only hope is for everyone to show up with their ears, hearts and minds open.

What you do with the information is totally up to the individual participant. ;)

Oh, and to all the participants, PLEASE don't let me forget about the four Kitelife subscriptions we'll be giving away at the clinic. ;)

My brain runs all over the place during an event, things get overlooked on occasion.

Will this mean I could have 3 subscriptions? (bit presumptious of me thinking I would get one) :innocent:

I am so tempted to buy another place for myself at the Clinic.

Although I am told I have a split personality :w00t::wub: I dont think it would actually be much help though.

Might B able to get an iQuad-er to teach each hand I suppose. ;)

Looking forward to finding a :sq-upsidedown::single: easy thanks Bob, tried the up a bit stop stuff, still cant get it.

Turns into a bit of a :sq-crazy::single: with a bit of a :dual: then a :sign_oops:

Sometimes then a bit of :mf_death: ensues.

Keep getting my :clap2: (hands in case you wonder) mixed up ending up with  and a

Assuming we're not the only ones staying after the Kite Festival....

Anyone up for a social / meal on the Sunday night before the clinic starts?

At this stage, I'm not sure what is available and affordable nearby but there's time to find out...

Lots of choice as I recall...

By the sounds of it there will be a lot of people staying over!
