KiteLife
You should really insist that Stephen shows you his insurance Woody Seriously though I am glad the thread has settled down, Michael, Stephen and myself are going to the KTAI conference in Portland in just under 2 weeks time, where we will see Lolly, Ben and JB, having the Brits interfighting on the Rev forum could be a bit embarrassing I have a few ideas for the 20th Anniversary celebrations for next year in the UK and it would be nice to be a pleasure and fun to organise, and not to much of a nightmare Anyway not long left until Santa arrives so I hope you all get what you put in your letters to him (I am not sure he exists really) Christmas Wishes Dave M Kiteworld It's never nice to see, but... Families do fight. As long as the family stays intact and grows, that's the key. Love, and best holidays wishes to all!
Baloo
I wondered what I could see in the northern sky earlier Bri. Happy Christmas all.

Fraserx
...my idea would be to give everyone a "ticket" who can evidence some form of insurance. (can you see what i did there? Dear All, I may no longer be able to come in January - I fear I will still be laughing too hard at Stephen's fantastic, sneaky, outrageously clever, face-saving, shut-the-f*ck-up-the-lot-of-you, manouevre here! Absolutely outstanding. Now, I'll probably annoy a few people here (if so, tough - come and see me on Dunstable Downs, and find out what I can do with a half-inch upright from a Blast... ), but Stephen's clarification a la insurance, should frankly, not have been necessary. Quite apart from the fact that we're all friends and amateurs, if any of you moaners bother to skim through this entire thread from the start, the insurance issue can't be clearer. It was a discretionary thing originally but for all the reasons explained by Stephen, now it's not. Live with it. To conclude, there's two things to bear in mind. 1 - It's for YOUR protection, and 2 (particularly for anyone daft enough to be threatening not to come on the grounds of enforced expense)- IT'S A BLOODY FIVER WE'RE TALKING ABOUT! EVERY ONE OF OUR KITES COST AT LEAST TWO HUNDRED QUID!!!!! Please - lets all get this into perspective! I for one can't wait to meet up with the Ainsdale Mob again aswell as all the other names I've seen so much on here, so come on - LIGHTEN UP! Fraser PS Seems we are indeed a Family though - what with all this bickering at Christmas. Ha ha!
Fraserx
As i have now recieved a threatening PM i am "pulling my horns in".I do not want to be involved in an event where people have no insurance or will not allow it to be checked. I am no longer involved in the organisation of the event . Merry Xmas Paul Ya Big Girl's Blouse.

big bri
Any ideas Bob or anyone on the best way to raffle/auction[whatever]the SUPERSONIC...... BRIAN...Gerin Giddy
Baloo
I would suggest. Raffle more fair to all, of course somone might buy a LOT of tickets but wont mean they will definatly get it. Fairly easy to organise. Means someone/s has to sell the tickets and organise draw. Auction, may get more money (may get less) go to the person with the biggest want / deepest pocketsm More difficult to organise. Means we need an auctioneer and get together as a group. Other thought could be raffled/auctioned on here. Would take some of the fun of the event away though.

kiteguy66
So, I'm sure England in January warrants shorts, t-shirt, and flip flops, just like California, right? Looking forward to flying with you all (or watching the rain/snow?), it's been a while! Dave TKC
