KiteLife
Well I'm sure you've gathered Watty, there are way more Rev fliers than 35... It's just those who have have spoken up on this topic.

Fraserx
I just realized....... If there are only 35 people....... How are we gonna get the total amount of fliers that we want for WSIKF? Ah, but if those 35 each fly just four of their Revs simultaneously, Watty...... See? No problemo.
KiteLife
Works for me Ant, that's why I'm trying to keep up, every 2-3 fliers that post in.

Stone in Shoe Bob
Feel totally free to keep a sub-tally, but I'm only counting people who stop in and post here. The original Question was :- Hi All.Just a thought. Does anyone (at Revolution, or anyone else) have any idea just how many Revs are out there? I'd never even SEEN one before I caught the kiting bug, but reading this forum regularly makes it obvious they're all over the planet and have been for, what, 20years? Anyone even hazard a guess at the total? Fraser If we are going to stay true to the original question, then you should include them. Either way I don't think we are going to get anywhere near close to the true answer, I suspect there are way too many out there gathering dust that have been bought by people who have seen Revs flown at festivals, bought one and then lost interest when they realised how much practice you have to put in to become even half ways decent. BTW - I have 4, and yes I know I'm sorry guys I'm bringing the average down but too be honest I really don’t see the need for any more yet. I have 1.5sle, sul & vented (plus a couple of additional leading edges) and with those three, I think I have all the bases pretty well covered, or at least, until I have the 1.5 mastered, and I still have a long way to go with that one. The other kite in my bay is a Lee Sedgwick Rev 1, an Ebay bargain I just couldn’t resist, I don’t think it had ever been flown. I hate to say it but, can you believe it, an unwanted gift, I had to give it a good home, it's a matter of duty.
KiteLife
Oh, I'm all for counting everyone to answer the big question... Don't get me wrong. My plate is so full already, I'm going to leave the *full* counting/tally to anyone else who has the time.
Morrunya
.posted in error unable to delete. Hay John, I noticed that there is a delete post button at Kitelife, but there isn't one here. By chance, would you be able to add one here? I, and apparently Shoe Bob, make mistakes once and a while that can't be fixed by editing the post. Anyway, About the people for WSIKF, I understand that we are only scratching the surface of the number of rev fliers out there, but I also realize that not all of them are coming to WSIKF. KiteLife
I hope to see at least 30 Revvies at WSIKF, with luck. I'll look into the post deletion.

I think that was my mistake, I’ve been caught with it before, but figured it out now though. I was trying to edit my post above, to correct a punctuation error and ended up quoting myself in a repost and couldn’t delete the second posting. A simple but stupid mistake, I was using the wrong set of buttons, on this forum the buttons are at the bottom of the post, on other forums I use they are at the top. Sorry for any confusion caused. KiteLife
No worries! Not having the option to delete didn't help, I'm sure.

Kitezen
i dont think your count is ever going to end john .. everytime you get one someone else comes in with moreAnd we are getting more revs, so this will never be a complete count. Just between us 35 fliers, and the rate we are buying revs, maybe just figure on automatically adding 2 kites per week to this count alone. I have a long wish list to fulfill yet.
