My day will now be complete with a few hours of rev time. Drill instructor Al and I are headed out to Liberty soon and hopefully Laura won't be too far behind. For everyone else, I hope wherever you are and whatever you're doing, you get a chance to let the lines out and get some air under the kites. Please make sure to tip stand on someone or at the very least hold a hover right on top of them!!!!!! @litsong....By far the furthersest away in miles for your birthday greeting, though JB may be over in your neck of the woods with TK (not sure when he was headed over) and Ben is down under somewhere so the two of them are distant well wishers. Don't know about the underground thing but when in WW this summer we can try it out by burying someone in sand up to their wrists and letting them fly that way! Again, thanks everybody for the birthday thoughts.........now go out and fly a kite!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! kitecowboy Posted March 28, 2009 Report Share Posted March 28, 2009 while reading this thread, a question comes to me (regarding antman)so i ask here.... by now i have learned about flying outdoor, flying indoor, flying rain or shine, flying while some of your body parts remain in the water (with bodywrapping of some sort) but, "underground"? can anyone who knows about this ? I dont have an indoor yet but I make many trips a year to a place called Carlsbad Caverns, I have it arranged with the park warden to give it a shot. All I need now is the kite. rcom714 Posted March 29, 2009 Report Share Posted March 29, 2009 Well it's Sunday morning in NJ and raining. My day yesterday was spent at Liberty Park with USMC Al. We had a great time flying and laughing and then home for dinner out with some friends ands neighbors. Thanks again to everyone in the Rev community for the birthday wishes and notes. It really meant a lot to me. So psyche that the festivals and meets up will begin again in earnest so we can all get together and fly soon!
