AldenMiller
Really nice Alden ..... would be just the thing to stake down your progressive power stack ... or haven't you got one yet?? At Wildwood I had my PB 2/4 on my Sam Adams stake. The wind really picked up and I figured it was time to put the 2/4 away. When I came back to take it down I found three other revs and the 2/4 attached to the one ground stake. Almost a power stack but not quite! -Alden

AldenMiller
Here's a couple more I put together this afternoon. I modified the design, you can see I removed the nut and washer for a smoother finish. I measured how many threads would go into the beer tap and then cut the bolt so it only had that many threads. Then I coated both the internal threads on the beer tap and the threads on the bolt with thread lock. I like the results. -Alden

Aerochic
Ok, I think it's safe to say that ~I~ have the silliest stake I've seen in lonnng time. I made this stake for the Rev Party in Wildwood this past weeekend. It was very hard to keep this one under wraps. Lol!!!

deebs1596
for the time being im stuck with a bright yellow tent stake. its molded plastic ooo. at least it has a hook built into it so i dont have to worry about my lines sliding off. (thats happened to me before with an aluminum tent stake that was a straight shaft)
LS Kite Stakes
OK , since I have not made a post to the official kite stake thread until now, here it is: This is a example of the Marble Stakes I make in my home workshop in my spare time. The stakes are made from 6061 T6 aircraft aluminum, 304 stainless steel rods, polished to a near chrome finish, and a large golf ball size glass marble. I also make the holsters and will soon have rubber duck stakes as well. These make great gifts for the discerning flier in your family, they are a very unique kite stake. Photos do them no justice, I keep hearing how much better they look in person. I have many colors of marbles available to me, I can always send a picture to you for approval before you buy. I am currently working on getting my stakes in some kite shops, hopefully very soon!

(thats happened to me before with an aluminum tent stake that was a straight shaft) If you like, I have a stake (it's from the Rev Clinic... sorry Brad). It's pink, you could spray paint it and I'd probably epoxy the ball on better, but it does work... no sleeve for it, either. If you're interested in it, PM with your address and I'll send it to you. I don't use it at all, so it's just taking up space in my bag/ car and TRUST ME, space in my car is a very valuable commodity!
