Opps.. I missed this somehow..

Ok , I did NOT count the two rainbows in my collection, so they need to be added into the count.

Do I have to have Connor sign up.. ?? I mean.. this kid is already kicking my tail!!!!!! sheesh.. okok fine..

winks.. I am kidding and honestly, I am really proud of him. I was sitting back watching him fly his new indoor yesterday, when he wasn't paying any attention to anything but was just getting into flying... and I was so moved... I welled up.. Yeah I know.. I'm a sap.

*runs to get Connor*

Welcome Akulakat, brave choice for your first Rev.

Oh oh. Is there something I should know? I got this slightly used and have been having fun with it. The winds around my place are usually 15+ and it has been fun. I can't make it do alot of cool tricks like you see on videos yet, but I am learning. It doesn't pull me around like my Peter Lynn Twister 4.1.

My only question is: Is there a trick to setting up by yourself when it is windy without the kite wanting to take off on you? I find this very difficult to do. My other power kites just sit there with the brakes on pretty well behaved. I stake the lines with brakes, but it still is a feat to get it accomplished. Currently I lay about 4 baseball gloves on the trailing edge as I hook everything up.

Try to have the sail lying flat on the ground, leading edge into the wind, with a little bit of string overlap. You can always use your knee to keep it down as you're getting the strings attached. Once attached, it would be best if you learned how to do a reverse launch. Do you own or have you seen any of the Revolution instructional videos?

ps. This certainly won't be your last Rev! LOL!
