Fraserx
So just how are you going to report this I'm going to make it up. In fact it's already written. The first part is all about how the Scots came down and routed the Sassenach scum. Again. But then there's loads about all the great Rev flying and cameraderie and stuff. sailor99
Bri if that is a picture of the Tesco brekkie looks like it will do for me. Call me suspicious but I have a sneaky feeling that the picture may have been the result of googling "Full English Breakfast Picture". I certainly wouldn't expect that quality from Tesco. Although on the plus side they price per item so you can have a smuch as you like. And they are served by authentic greasy spoon type dinner ladies, warts and all. Be sure to rally up a bunch of photos from some of the folks who attend... We could actually use 50-60 good photos. Stone in Shoe Bob
Says who? <grin>Julianne an SLE, with a little tossed salad of ripstop and end caps... YUM. Sorry mate, waste of a good Rev, I'd rather take a few mins out out to visit a good greasy spoon. Explanation for our colonial friends. Edit: link removed as further research shows this colloquialism requires no translation across the pond. Furthermore it has also been pointed out by another member of this forum (who for obvious reasons will remain anonymous) that the term has a very different meaning amongst member of the gay community. Baloo
Well at least we now know the answer to the question. Who ate all the Pies? Wigan did!! As far as the American Pie is concerned, whats with that lattice top? Than again we fly Vented Rev's why not a Vented Pie I suppose? Both the Wigan and American Pies look good enough to eat. Not sure about John with his SLE Salad type concoction. At least not for Brekkie (and Salad, whats all that about. Orrible GREEN stuff with them Tomato things with all them orrible pips.) not natural I say. Nowt wrong with a Pie, some proper Chips and lashings of Salt, Vinigar and Tomato sauce (not a pip in sight)
Stone in Shoe Bob
Now Less Than Two Weeks to Go In my post of 23rd Dec I said that I would still email STACK membership forms to anyone that wanted them and I believe that I have replied to all who have requested them but just in case I have missed someone or any have been lost in the ether please contact me again and I will resend. Please also accept this as a gentle (and final) reminder to anyone who had intended to request a form but have not yet done so. To be absolutely clear on this, as I understand the situation STACK membership is not a requirement, but I had said that I would do all I could to help people do the decent thing and I would hate anybody to have a problem and not be protected due to an error on my part. Stone in Shoe Bob
I shouldn’t worry to much Christmas is a busy time of year for most people and I they are probably expecting a bit or a rush on new members on the back of this gathering Mathew may well be waiting until he has a few to do them all in one hit. I’m not sure, but if memory serves me right I think Mathew sends out a welcome email when he processes the applications. I would suggest you do not delete this email as it may well serve as proof of membership if membership cards have not arrived in time. Stone in Shoe Bob
Update on the Breakfast Front I did not mention it before as I was not sure it was still there but I am reliably informed that it is. On the left between the duck railway bridge and the Norman King probably no more than 500yads there is a proper old fashioned working mans café with its own car park, never used it so can’t vouch for it but as I said it’s there. Baloo
Sounds better and better. A choice of where to grab your Brekky. Just need to sort out Sunday morning now. As was said previously there is allways the Mc D place.
