I was really torn about this past weekend, I wanted to make the trip up there, I even had my wife convinced to go with me. But, 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 hours each way and I came to my senses (I think). I am going to the beach in a week and a half, I hope to get some flight time in then... I think I can even initiate a friend into rev flying. So while I am posting, what are the dates for the wildwood kite festival next year???? This is my first downspar-in-midair fatality. Ant, sorry we can't make it out this weekend, but Labor Day weekend we'll be on the beach EVERY day and we might hit up the water park for a little bit if anybody is interested.
