you kind have to walk in a circleular motion backwards i to just started doing it this summer its a little tough at first but youll get it if you try that and get it down you ll be able to do other stuff in time myself i found that the indoor works great for flying in those small areas wherre i couldnt fly kites before i got it

Starting with your arms stretched out and using bigger arm movements can also help. Think of it as a gentle pumping motion, letting your arms out when the kite descends and pulling them back to make it rise. You have to exercise a bit in low/no wind. :)

It's more exercise when you are beginning. I've seen Penny fly indoors while sitting down, but she's had a lot of experience.

I tried flying my Rev Indoor that I bought from Lolly outside when there was no wind, and I couldn't get it to fly. Is there some sort of tenique to doing this.... or wot?

I started indoor back in 1993 but I was never too good in it as I never practiced. However I have some advice.

With those super light indoor kites, when you fly into that almost no wind, it will push the kite towards you.

One of the trickiest parts to flying an indoor kite outside is that little bit of wind that you usually have. Thus, you have to find ways to use that little bit of wind to your advantage and not your disadvantage.

Good Luck and have Fun!

i just started a few months ago and i still crash at times but after a few tries its not so bad another good tip is to have line sets for diffrent areas i fly in sevreal diffrent buildings that have diffrent celing heights so i have line sets from 10 feet to 30 feet im now makeing 40 foot lines for the convention center i might even be able to go higher thise reason is for overhead tricks and hovers the kite has to go above you so hitting the celing wont work and getting snagged on a gym light is even worse

Where do you go to find a place to fly indoors. I have been searching for a place to pratice and have come up empty handed. Any advice?

ah, the classic problem with indoor flying, just where to actually do it!

The trick we found in Vancouver was to look out in the suburbs as opposed to in the city. There, we found a small comunity rec centre that had some time free on sunday mornings that they let us have cheaply.
