Well today was great! A lovely sunny day, great company and the wind was not bad either. FS with their new loan signing, mr Ellison, put on some great stuff. Luca. (sp) groupies were rewarded with a surprise appearance. Bazz (the version we have over here) turned out to be a charming chap. This evening everyone, including the Mayor in his chain, were entertained by a public screening of old DVDs including a re-run of the Portsmouth DVD (how good are flic especially to Matrix music). Then the city put on a superb fireworks display. What a great way to officially start the season.

The weather today was not as kind as yesterday. Although there was wind it had switched to the west making for a 'changable' breeze on the beach. Nevertheless FS put on several displays which were just as good as yesterday. Mr and mrs git turned up, and bazzerB had a fantastic gift for me which will make mr J and Bob totally jealous and curious. Talking of mr jones we did another megga fly today which we dedicated to him seeing as he couldn't get to Weymouth due to family commitments. The sand has just been washed out of my sails (lilac and mallow soap for them this time) and now is the time to settle down with a glass of something smooth and red and contemplate another wonderful weekend with kites.

Especially huge thanks to bazzerb. I am as pleased as a dog with two tails.

Anyone going to Swindon??

I have family in that part of the world, I went to the festival a few years back and I have to say it's not one of my favourites, I was going to say “nice location but no atmosphere” but I’ve just checked the website and it looks like the festival has moved so I can’t even say “nice location”.
