Well as I get ready for Kite Party here close to home I have to say I can't wait and thats for a lot of reason and the

big one for me is Dave S. and they way he puts an event together.... :blue-cool: Kite Party for me is about just

enjoying the company of other fliers and getting to spend some time with the local fliers cause I'm away so much....

Also I really like Huntinton Beach Ca. and it's pretty close to home and with the addition of the guys from the UK I

just can't wait..... :w00t: So if you need to bring anything give me a holler and I'll do my best....Ben :blue-cool: :blue-cool:

Hi Ben, if you see Rob Brassington say Hi from Me. And let us know who you do see over there..

If you make it to NZ, look out for a guy called James Madelin awesome Rev flyer - one of the old school and simply one of the best.

Really nice guy too.

Have fun, and dont forget Aus is just like usA only a bit mixed up :P

Now, now, behave youself !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Alex, no malice intended.

BTW whats the Rev scene like in Aus these days?

Do you remember a team called Vertigo? Guy called Michael Richards had a shop up on Coogee Beach really nice guy he and his team came for a sleepover at my place just before World Cup a few years back, Greg Franz came back a little while back - the team had disbanded, was wondering if any of theese guys still fly.

No malice taken, all done in fun.

There are a number of Rev flyers scattered far and wide, but we may get a few in Adelaide next week, as Ben will be over here to join in the activities at the Adelaide Kite Festival.

I don't know of any of very many flyers, never heard of the guys you mentioned. There are only two or three shops which carry a very limited number of Rev kites, in fact I think they almost import to customer requirements.

OK, these guys go back a few years, and Aus is a BIG country...

What about Curleys kites up in Cairns have your heard of that?

So do you fly alone in Adelaide? or are there other Rev flyers?

Simon, I live in Melbourne and will be travelling to Adelaide for the Kite Festival.

When I do fly, I fly alone, hence the learning curve has been very slow. I have been to Cairns, but that was before I took up kite flying. As you said, Australia is a big country, about 4000km between Melbourne and Cairns.

Guess what????? Yes I'm leaving the office as we speak to head to MIKE and thats the good news, the bad news is the trophy may

be lost by UPS somewhere, hmmmmmmm it's going to be one of those days for sure....... I'm not sure what I'll do but if

indeed the trophy is lost for good I will give the winner some choices of what they want...... I got to tell you I am not

having a good day and I'm glad I'm headed to the East Coast to fly with my Family cause for some reason this makes it all better.

Oh well at least I tried to make things good..... :kid_brooding: Ben
