Duncan...

Remove the Top Pigtail on the 1.5 handles..

Stretch it out without Doubleing the Leader.

On one End Of Each Leader Make aloop that you can use to attach it to the handles.

Then Make Single Knots 1 inch apart Evenly on both Leaders as far as you can.

Take you Time and Make sure al the Knots are the Same distance away from the Handles.

These are From a Set of SLE Handles just like yours..

Here are a Couple of Pictures to help

And the Bottom Lines are close to the Handles and I never move them..

Hi Thanks for the repl.ys Jay and Barresi. i am going to have a go at making the pigtails longer by doing what you have advised. One question is i make very sure each time i fly that all 4 of my lines are the same lenght surely if i move the top lines nearer to the handles i will get more lift but in efect now the top lines are shorter than the bottom ones? i guess this makes no difference as long as the top lines are both equal in lenght and both bottoms? i hope i am correct as i have yet to try the knotted top pigtail configaration ,i have always just used single knot top and bottom making sure all lines are equal in lenght. As you can see i have not been flying long and would apreciate your comments .Also i wonder if i am the oldest rev flyer on here mmmmmm i wonder Thanks Duncan :confused!:

I would expect there are many folks over 50 flying Revs.

Hey now, it seems like most of my team is over 50, well 5 of them anyway. The only problem I have with them is that they don't react very quickly to the calls. Mind you, you should see them run when I tell them it's their turn to buy the drinks :kid_smartass:

By Moving the Top Lines Farther away from the Handles you will have More Braking power and More control over the Kite. All Four Lines are the Same Lengh. If you look at the Picture I Added The Top Leader is Where I normally fly my kite. Oceans of Brake my Friend.. It takes a Little getting used to because you loose some Lift but the Benefits out Way the Loss..

You'll find what you like. I prefer to have my lines on the end knot. It gives a lot of control, and makes it easier to over control, which is a good thing sometimes. Ever since I started flying revs, I used a lot of break.
Thanks watty i am off to the beach :)
