Stone in Shoe Bob
I think it's 3 x 1.5.
Morrunya
Could it have something to do with the 4 top lines connecting the revs? (I'm not sure if that's on all stacks. Never flown a stack before.)
johnnmitchell
How about a Rev 1 a Rev 1.5 and a Rev 2 with the Rev 1 nearest the handles Gary's got it close enough! It was a bit of an illusion as all REVs appear to be the same size. Below are two more pictures taken in the same sequence of photos. This train is before the "REV 1.5" times. The second REV is a scaled down "REV I" built exclusively to fill the gap between a "REV II" and a "REV I" for my first progressive REV train. Gary, you are up now for the next mystery photo. johnnmitchell
I think i've said this before about that particular pattern, I WANT ONE These weren't easy to build and to top it off, the pattern I used for design has been lost. The material I used was Bainbridge spinnaker nylon. If I were ever to make this again, I would used either Icarex or Toray polyester spinnaker. The major problem is to get enough material of the same type, in 4 different shades. The amount of material used and wasted was tremendous due to the pattern. Nope, no plans to make another set. Morrunya
The sail appears to be backwards or something,, because the revolution logo is backwards.

play365
The sail appears to be backwards or something,, because the revolution logo is backwards. That could be because thats the back of the kite did they print the logo on the wrong side ?
Stone in Shoe Bob
That could be because thats the did they print the logo on the wrong side ? Then the sticks would be on the wrong side too, I think you were right first time Gary, we are looking at the back of the kite.
johnnmitchell
The REV I was properly made. The logo is properly printed. The REV is put together in the normal way. Please try again!
mrdenny
Is the oddity what we are talking about on the other thread? A R/W/B Rev 1. I do know it is very special.
TGunn
Is the sail made without mesh screen material? Was the logo printed on the back and front of the sail?

No that would not be it. I had just done something with it. The picture in the other thread shows the same REV. I think that photo was taken either less then a minute before or after this photo. ilh
Do those little black spots near the center of the trailing edge have anything to do with it?
robalex
It has done a flip.
johnnmitchell
Do those little black spots near the center of the trailing edge have anything to do with it? No, those are only for R-W-B tails.
johnnmitchell
It has done a flip. Close enough! It has done a FLIP landing and stabbed into the soft sand to hold it up. That is why you see the back of the REV with the wind bellowing the sail away from the rods on the back. You will also see the impression of the lines, going across the lower trailing edge pulling it in, slightly towards the lower tips.
jasondarla
There is nothing wrong with the kite, it's most likely a flip of the image itself.
