WayneReed
I will be bringing a snack that I made today in case we need an energy pickup (unless my wife finishes it before ). Based on the forecast, Brian might be able to see a big yellow ball in the sky that is not common on his side of the pond. I will be bringing my solar telescope so we can check out prominences and any other features present on old Sol during a break in the kiting. I presume we park in the lot close to the playground that I see in satellite images. I hope to arrive between 9:30 and 11:00 if traffic is not a problem. See you all there. temoniprince
yes wayne we part near the play ground, bc sometimes we get bored of flying kites and we play on the super duper slide. acually its a really kick ass play ground. lol But for real we park there bc there are bathrooms around and its close to walk form where we park! Lauranyyfan
What an amazing day!!! While the weather was quite chilly, the warmth of great company more than compensated for it. Deb, Brian's bride is a sweetheart and what a trooper for hanging in there the entire day. It's easy to stay warm when flying and moving. She just hung out and watched, cheering us on and taking some of the photos I'm posting... thank you! Brian, you're a super nice guy, plain and simple! Your megavent is sweeeeeeet! It felt like I was flying in a perfect breeze, yet the winds were easily blowing 15-20 mph. wow!!!! As for my Jersey Crew Family, what can I say? I had such an enjoyable day; tons of laughs and great flying: Life is definitely good!!!!! Hugs and kisses to you all. I'll post the extra photos in the member's gallery in a few days. There's also a couple little videos that I'll give you the links to after I get them uploaded. Enjoy. Thank you, all for a super day!!! Brian and Deb- Enjoy the rest of your trip. I know I can speak for the gang here: We will gladly fly with you any time you're in or around our neck of the woods.
