TGunn
I knew he was doing this as he had told me about it. But then I totally forgot about! Thanks for pressing the memory recall button!

My pleasure John M ! I havn't seen David in ages. Last I heard, he was kite surfing in Flordia, or maybe on another tour of Europe, staying here and there, wherever he can find a place to stay. ; )

Fraserx
You are Frazer W. correct? If so, you lived in Dallas, TX area for awhile correct? A few years ago I asked you if you were going to come ride/race in the Hotter Than Hell 100 bike race here in Wichita Falls, Texas, because you had previously told me that you raced bikes, and you told me that you were still not 100% because of a a nasty accident, where a car had hit you while you were riding. Ahh Troy, I see. No - that's not me. I'm Fraser M in the UK, but four years ago I WAS knocked off my bike - by a car - and DID get somewhat 'messed up'. Broke my neck in a couple of places, my back in four, split sternum, etc etc. Bizarre co-incidence - I thought you were a long-lost brother for a while!! LOL
Baloo
Must just be the name. maybe all Fraser's have had it happen to them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I imagine, you were probably wondering how the h_ll I knew about your injury. ; ) BTW - The other Frazer is originally from the UK too. I may not be your brother, but my family tree goes back to Scotland, where Clan Gunn was located in south central Scotland close to Caithness (spelling). johnnmitchell
Mystery Photo No. 35 What do we have flying here? Where is it? Tip: The location is also known as: "The Top of the World" But many other locations claim the same.
Morrunya
Looks like either a stack of the same custom rev, or there is a really good quad team flying them behind each other. As for where..... no clue

There's a small monk village in western China that is at 18,000 ft elevation. or perhaps it was in Austria?
johnnmitchell
A home made stack of mini Revs? There's a small monk village in western China that is at 18,000 ft elevation. or perhaps it was in Austria? They are mini REVs and not REV IIs as you first stated. They are scaled down from the REV I. The leading edge is 82cm (32.5") long. I don't recall the height anymore nor do I have this stack or its twin anymore. The location is not in China or Austria. The altitude of this location is 1,822 m (5,978 ft). It's sister city in the USA is Vail, Colorado.
TGunn
They are mini REVs and not REV IIs as you first stated. Holy cow John! I had Rev 2 posted for 2-3 minutes, looked at the pic again, then edited my post. You must be watching this forum like a hawk! ; ) The location is not in China or Austria. Fraserx
Yes, strange coincidence indeed! I imagine, you were probably wondering how the h_ll I knew about your injury. ; ) Was getting all paranoid there! LOL BTW - The other Frazer is originally from the UK too. Ahh.... paranoia coming back! I may not be your brother, but my family tree goes back to Scotland, where Clan Gunn was located in south central Scotland close to Caithness (spelling). Spelling's fine, but Caithness is as far as you can get from South-central Scotland! LOL

Regards, Thanks Troy. All fine and dandy (though even LESS fit and active than before! LOL) No surgery or anything - the whole episode was the very definition of 'good luck', I'm pleased to say. No more biking though! LOL

You must be watching this forum like a hawk! ; ) How about St. Moritz, Switzerland Right on! For those interested in this super luxurious place look at: http://www.stmoritz.ch/ I have been there a few times in the off-season during the 90s and fortunately had free accommodations each time. TGunn
Fraser, I'm happy that you're doing alright now. Hopefully kite flying helps your rehabilitation. : ) In the fall of 1989 I fell down a flight of stairs and cracked my wrist and dislocated my shoulder, which required surgery to my shoulder. I didn't want to quit flying, so I learned to fly a stunt kite with my hips during my rehabiliation time, then a few months later in early 1990, I started flying two kites at one time (hips and hands). I also learned to fly a routine where I would fly a Rev and a dual line at the same time in 1990. So kite flying was good rehab for me, as I hope it is for you. : )
