KiteLife
Hi folks, as you know, I've just gotten engaged... Takako will be in Portland with me from December 20th to January 2nd, and we'd love to have a fun fly at Delta Park in Portland on New Years day (Jan 1)! Anyone who's up for it, come on down between 11am and... (weather dependent) Location - http://www.revkites.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=996 For the last two years, we've had 20mph+, a bit of rain and fairly cold, but there is tons of space, and plenty of nearby places to retreat to if the weather gets too bad... If you show up and no one is there, give me a call on my cell (503-890-0280) and I can direct you to where we've run off to. Quads, duals, singles, all are welcome, plenty of room for everyone, we'd love to see you! If you're looking at coming, please post here. == "RSVP" list: - Kitelife - TAKAKO - RS67Man - Theresa - glider - Bazzer

sailor99
I would love to be there myself, to see old faces and meet you Takako. but I believe I have been booked out for a celebratory dinner that evening; being in both Oregon and Hampshire is not really going to be possible! Have a great fly though.

LS Kite Stakes
The Weather Report is looking wet, I am bringing my duck suit! I will be bringing coffee! I just roasted the beans last night, Tasmanian Kilimanjaro Peaberry. I will be making it at the park with the French press method, I guarantee it will be the best coffee you have ever had....... Is anyone bringing some sort of cover? Winds are forcasted to be pretty breezy, so it will need to be tied down.
KiteLife
You bringing 1/2+1/2 and sugar too? Sounds awesome! We don't have any cover to bring, but it might be nice to have.
LS Kite Stakes
I will have the sugar and Coffeemate, if you want any other creamer, bring it. I also have a few (half dozen) throw away cups and lids. Currently I am looking for my inverter, need it to run the coffee grinder. Now where in the world did I leave that dang thing....................
LS Kite Stakes
I found the inverter! I went and got a 10'x10' expanding cover, so we will have a dry spot, complete with hot drinks! I am bringing a camp stove, water kettle, coffee, reg and sugar free hot cocoa, cups (I got more), sugar, Coffeemate. I will have 1 gallon of brewing water, and 3 gallons of cleaning water. If anyone wants tea, cookies/snacks, or to bring more brewing water, please do!
