timmyz
when stacking two revs , a 1 and a 1.5, can i use my 4 1/2' stacking lines or do i need to go with a 5' set ? thanks tim from pittsburgh
Robtulloch
I've done it the other way, Rev2 to a 1.5. I used the 4 1/2 footers. They worked ok but I had to trim down the two from the top of the verts because of the scaling effect. Try them and see how you go.
timmyz
Something new to add to this question. Would it be a problem stacking a rev 2 then (2) rev 1.5s and then a rev 1? I just got another 4 1/2 ft stacking lines and would like to just keep these together. Any input would help. Kent if your out there.

I made my own about 20 years back before the REV 1.5 existed. http://johnnmitchell.com/Photography/3-1993/Schleiss93/wm_199312-05.JPG Revolutions did and maybe still offers progressive stack by special order. timmyz
I didn't know if having 2 1.5s would make a difference. I have some extra kites and I want to leave them together. Also , is it a problem with the stacking lines with different size kites.
awindofchange
I love my progressive stack. You can see some pictures of it here: https://picasaweb.google.com/chilesej/2007Kites#5431162795813442770 (multiple pictures starting with that one) You can stack one or multiple Rev's of various sizes together. They will work fine with the 4.5 or 5' stacking lines just as they are out of the package but for optimum performance you may want to tweak them a little as mentioned above. It technically isn't necessary but it does make a difference in how the stack performs. You will want to put your smallest Rev's (Rev II / B2's) in the front and your largest one in the rear (usually Rev 1). The Rev II, 1.5 and Rev 1 progressive stack is awesome to fly and looks very good in the air.

makatakam
You can stack multiple kites of any size, including the same size. The smaller kites, if you mix sizes should be in front of the larger ones.
