No, the noise factor has been enough to drive me off.

I find my eyes and the fuzz on my ears are accurate as any wind meter. ;)

They say that people who compete at a high levels of a sport start with some genetic advantage (e.g. Lance Armstrong's heart). Maybe it's the fuzz on your ears! I can smell a research paper in the making! "The iQuad ear-fuzz factor".

I admit I don't use the wind meter much. It's got kewl factor, though.

I just did a phone upgrade. Went from a prepaid TracPhone to an iPhone 4S. For me, this was like going from a small bicycle with training wheels to the Space Shuttle. I was a computer programmer for a bank in the 60s, before real time processing, CRTs, and disk drives, when computers took up a whole room, needed a controlled environment, and a power sub station just outside the building. True story.

I got on Lynn's phone plan, so got the "good guy" price. She will get her iPhone on Monday when her upgrade time rolls around.

I just read this entire thread, and can see that lots has happened with these devices in the last three or four years.

Lots of learning to do, lots of "mousing around", and have been up until midnight most every night.

What a blast!

Yea, I upgraded to an iPhone 4 from a generic Motorola flip phone around the time of the 4S release. Such a difference. I don't even care about the apps so much as being able to be online from anywhere. It definitely gets used.
