Watty's correct - it's foreshortening.

Either that, or it's an EXPERTLY-caught shot 1nanosecond before an enormous home-made Rev, sliding in from the right at over 100mph, cut an unsuspecting majorette clean in half.

You should SEE the next few frames, the gore was spectacular. I hear Quentin Tarantino is using it in "Kill Bill 3 - The Revolution".

The girl is only about 5'3" tall.

The vented REV I is an original from Revolution and has a wingspan of 9'(108").

Hmmmm.... I still think it's in front of her from the camera's viewpoint - 9' or not, if it was behind her it would need to be bigger than that for this view.

That comment alone tells me you and I would get along great, I'm laughing hysterically.

Thanks,

She wasn't split!

The girl is healthy and well as can be seen in some of my non-kiting photos from 2006 and earlier on Web Site.

If you look close enough - she is holding onto the edge of the kite with her right hand, and i am guessing that her left hand is actually beneath the tip of LE. However it does appear that she is wearing a short evening dress in the photo (possibly only due to shadows etc) and I cant figure out why you would be wearing such a thing while playing with a rev in a field. But yes - it does look like she is being a play thing for the Rev.

You are getting close!

Maybe this helps you even getting closer.

OMG it is dis-robing her !!!

ok so she isnt actualyl holding onto the kite like it looked.

I am going to guess that it is removing articles from her, there appears to be a clump of fabric on the ground, and I assume the large scarf draed over her shoulder is the next garment to go... Now I just want to know how the kite is going to undo the zipper... that would be a cool trick.

That is close enough.

The photo is from a Freestyle Competition at Osnabruch-Melle Germany in 1996 shortly after I became European Quadline Champion.

The music was "You can leave your hat on" from Joe Cocker.

It was initially planned to be a mini-strip down to a bikini. Instead it was kept at the scarf only level.

Attached are some more photos given to me by someone, whom forget who it was.

Na John. The later pictures are all of a meticulously-constructed android that you created to cover up the heinous gore-fest to which your original picture refers.

Don't worry about it - we've all done it. :)

I take back my earlier "android" comment - a Rev that disrobes women to music is a MUCH better invention!! "Down to a bikini"?? So the "B" in "B-series" refers to "Bikini"??!! Fantastic!:lol::lol:
