KiteLife
Quick scenario... Let's say you live in an area where there aren't a lot of dual line fliers, but you've got a ton of Rev fliers! The AKA will sanction any sport kite competition as long as the sanctioning rules are followed... What categories you run is entirely up to you! So, an event could run only dual line events, or just multiline events... Whatever you can support! Just sharing a thought.

Don't forget the junior competitions. They are a whole lot of fun getting the kids started in competition.

johnnmitchell
wel my area has none of any fliers (dual or quad) but thank god for the wildwood festivals or id be lost How are you defining your area? Sometimes you have to drive a few hundred miles to a competition. e.g. you live in Southern Germany and the closest competition in Germany is in Northern Germany, however the closest competition is actually in Italy. Bella Italia!
Morrunya
I feel your pain Ant. There is only one other duel liner in the entire eastern fourth of WA that I know of , other than me, and no quad liners.

mousieo
I have to say that I am happy to hear from Hiedi (marketing director for the Bend Fest) that the Les Schwab Ampitheatre is seeing alot more kite flyers since our fest. I was thrilled to hear that. Perhaps next time we can add some comps?
