rcom714
Yes Jeremy, it would have been nice to have you there too. WayneReed
How about a steady 10? .. why not, we are REV FLYERS and you are coming a long way to fly Liberty... it should be perfect!!! We can only hope!!!! Laura, Now that we are getting close (3 GERUPS :confused!: whatever that means) and this will be my first kite trip to Liberty Park, what weather resources do you recommend for that location? Perhaps this Newark, NJ Aviation Forcast or this NWS Forcast Jersey City, NJ ?

Sadly, that weather station is a bit erratic (like right now. did you know it claims its 68F?? ). but the winds seem to be on! It also lets you point back and forth to the airport, or the local weather station. And I'm not sure where its local feed is, but I suspect it is the Liberty Science Center which is just a short distance from the flying field. BRIAN...2GERUPS+1hr43mins We generally bring food and drink to get us through. Brad is bringing a pop up tent, heater and some sort of stove and pot setup for hot chocolate and whatever else. I'm, most likely, bringing subs (or hoagies) are you familiar with them? They're Italian deli meats and cheese with lettuce, tomato, onion, oil and vinegar on Italian bread. Does that interest you? I know everyone attending enjoys it. If there's anything specific you'd like, just let us know, we're happy to do what we can to make you feel right at home.
