Awwww what a totally great time this weekend! I can't believe it's over already!

Was so awesome to see and spend time with everyone! It looks to me like we were all having great learning experiences on the beach. Thanks Steve and Bazzer for traveling out east to teach this rowdy silly bunch! Hehehehe! I think the overall exchange of flying techniques amoung all who attended was a pretty cool thing in and of itself. It's definitely a win-win!

Stay tuned for some neato pics! Hope everyone gets home safe and sound! Miss y'all already! :throb:

Must be nice to catch a plane and go fly all over the world. Come on lottery numbers!!!!!! Glad to hear everyone had a great time, wish I was there!

Well... I know 2 of your stakes made it to the party at least! :D I was happy to see one up close, they're even nicer than the photos! :clap;

NIce Photo!!!!

I had an amazingly greeeeaaaaaaat time! Steve and Bazzer, you guys rock! I met some new Rev friends and got to see some old ones. OMG, I got some super pointers, learned some great stuff and laughed my ass off... what else could you ask for?.... I know, fly team :kid_devlish: ; boy did we!!!!!!!!!

You know, it's amazing how you think you can fly decently and then when you are doing the team thing and truly are right there to "toe the line" , it's quite humbling to realize how good these iQuad dudes truly are. The good thing is, when you fly with these guys and listen to what they're teaching you, the learning curve speeds up by leaps and bounds. I try to learn something every time I fly (whether alone or with friends) and boy did I learn this weekend.

Thanks everyone for the great laughs and awesome flying!

Hey Brad.... Thanks for organizing this... it was a sweeeeeeeeeet time.

I'll be posting photos, too... and a few videos including my "smack down"... it was explosive... to say the least. :confused!: :sign_kitelife: You'll know what I mean when I have it posted.... hmmmmm, thinking.....

THANK YOU, ALL, again.

Barb & I also had a great time. Bazzer and Steve were great and helped me improve considerably. I can now manage an inverted hover, and occasionally an inverted horizontal slide. We met new friends and enjoyed the experience.

We have some pictures and videos, but they will take time to process. Here are my teasers - Antman's new hat and his dance move (Thanks to Steve). More later.

I had a really good time (not counting when I broke my line sets twice)!

Thank you Brad, Bazzer, and Steve!

Just to prove you can fly anything at Wildwood here is a parting shot of Larry flying a garbage bag!

I did improve on my twitchyness a little and my side slides definitely improved. I think it may have been practicing them in the light breeze we had on Saturday that made them seem a whole lot easier on Sunday!

So much to say but just a few random thoughts.

Flying between Bazzer and Steve is a humbling experience. Hysterical but humbling. My lungs hurt from laughing so much.

Flying between Bazzer and Steve is exceptionally educational. Finger control, breathe and geometry are all new Rev vocabulary.

Flying in line IN FRONT of Steve is nerve wracking......is he laughing with you or at you!!!!!

Alden, you crack me up.

Brad, what can I say....love ya pal!

%^#$*%$, gotta go to work!

More later.

My BIG smackdown :kid_devlish: It was funny!!!!

I filmed myself flying...different, anyway

Hi All...

Here are some photos... enjoy.

BTW, thanks for the kind words :blushing: , you're all the best, truly.

post-2058-1225163942_thumb.jpg Alden's interpretation of Antman's ghost; vented... very nice!

Cool shots Laura, thanks!

This one took me a second before I realized what you'd done. You can't read the WW sign from the beach!

Great pics and video, Laura! Hehehehe! :clap;

Those were some Rev Snapping Winds for that night fly! You can hear the lines screaming in the vid. I think it's a testament to Revolution that no one suffered any real damage to their rods or kites, YOW!!! I'm glad everyone came out of that alright. Whew!

Some of my pics are up in the gallery now as well, but I still have alot more to add:

Laura,

Nice work! :) You are fast! I have just briefly looked at the images and videos Barb & I made, enough to extract the shots of Steves head-plant on Antman. Steve also re-enacted the 1-handed walk-away for Barb's video. My results (actually mostly Barb's this time) will take a while to get posted, hopefully before the weekend. My hopes of doing a split-screen video of you team flying are gone - it turns out that I don't have software that can handle it. At least I can do 2-camera cutaways to show the flyers, then the kites responding.

Thank you Brad for making this event happen. This is a great service for us, and we really enjoyed meeting Steve and Bazzer. Not only are they experts, but they seem to be really nice guys to learn from. Revolution is lucky to have instructors like them to help the market for these kites.

I feel I made significant gains in my inverted handling, and Barb improved also. Unfortunately, Saturday's high winds were too much for my solid SLE or my wife's tennis-elbow, and Sunday's winds were lighter than ideal for her level of learning, so she got less flying time than I hoped. As we will not be getting to Liberty Park next weekend, we will try to get practice as we can locally.
