Line assembly on my 4 line kite

Hi need verification on the connection of the vertical line and the top horizontal line.

On these kites there are two lines that runs from the top support rode connector to the bottom rode connector of the kite. This vertical lines does connect to the top horizontal line. How is it done? Thanks

Hi, Yes, the Bridles should be tied together at the loops at the top middle of wing.

If you can possibly call me with the kite infront of you, I can talk you through it quickly.

I believe there is also a tutorial video, by Watty that shows how to tie the bridles together.

Feed the long loop ( on the horizontal bridle) through the small loop ( on the vertical bridle) about half way.

Fold long loop back on itself and feed down through the long loop. Pull tight.

Same on left as on the right.

Here's the info you want. It covers complete bridle replacement, but it does have the info you need.

Our field saying is - little through big, big through little. Small loop from vertical through long loop from horizontal, then long tag end from horizontal through the loop from vertical. Pull tight. Should be left with a small "hinge" in the process. If all the knots are together, you've done it wrong.
