Hey guys. Sorry to say, but I don't think I'll be able to make it. I hope everybody has fun though.

Oh, and check out that AWESOME logo. Great job creating that one Aerochic, I LOVE it.

Oh *Blushhhhh!* Thanks for such praise, Ang!!! It makes me happy to see that people are digging it.

We'll be missing you for sure! Hugs!

I'm Back Online...........................

Brad.....you should specify what the fees are going toward. Several folks were asking me "why should I pay a fee just to hang out and fly with friends on a beach when the kite party on the west coast doesn't charge anything." I didn't know what to tell them.

I can try to answer your question Smitty.

The whole point of this weekend is to have a couple of the IQUAD members come and give flying instruction. Saturday and Sunday are group instruction times and Friday people can sign up for personal instruction (for an extra fee).

I went to the clinic this past spring and it was great. I learned quite a few tips from John, Steve, and Paul D. that have greatly improved my flying.

I am going to try and make it this time also, I want to work on my "twitchyness" when I fly in a group.

Things I learned from the last clinic include simple stuff like how to wrap my lines so they don't tangle as easy to slowing my flight down (especially while descending) to such a point that Rich goes crazy when we play follow the leader.

You get the best of both worlds, you get to hang out with friends and learn new things with your rev that will make flying that much more enjoyable.

Hey now! How did I get involved in your twitchyness? :kid_smartass:

You must be confusing me with Antman!

Rich you are the one that complained about the slow descents on the right side of the figure eight... :kid_content:

I wouldn't call what Antman does "twitchyness". More like demolition derby!!! :kid_devlish:

It's all good my friend, fast or slow, I'd fly next to you anytime.

Antman and I just crack up now when we fly next to each other, more cause we can't stop busting out the jokes.

Looking forward to seeing you in a couple weeks!

Good Question:

Answer....

I have no sponsors for my events I do other then a couple donations. There are alot of fee's involved with these type of events that most people don't see. Some are plane tickets, housing, food, insurance's,permits, perks for those helping etc. Get the picture yet ? Lotta cash has been spent already before the flyer's have arrived. This is all done for You the kiter, and to expand the sport that I love.....

Friday will be private lessons given as an extra cost. Saturday and Sunday will be group flying with remedial training given as needed.

A free dinner is included with paid admission to the weekends events.

A BBQ is planned also on the beach....

I hope this has helped those that have question's.

Hi Guy s just back form our three week tour of Cherry Valley , AKA and Niagara,

Washing machine is whirring away for me and Stevie.

Have lots of drills to pass on to you guys to improve your team skills.

And drill them we will!

Practice makes perfect.

In the mean time just work on your fundamentals of hover.

Yes Alden we will "detwitch" you in the 8's.

Give me 50 figure of eights with you and we shall put that problem to bed for good. I'm putting you on the rail road diet!

Would really like to get fly throughs happening in big groups and a few blenders for those who have always wanted to give it a bash.

Throw in some cool landings as well.......and anything else you fancy.

In fact is there anything anyone wants to bring up now so we can make sure it's covered?

Stevie and I are all ears...

Silly question, but is this more of an advanced clinic/party? My skillz may not be ready for team flying just yet. :blue-confused:

No worries we will take everyone on an individual bases. Work on what you want. I just wanted to get an idea of the direction some might want to go.

Ok Cool. I'll just have to play it by ear and see how much I learn while I'm there. This looks like it's gonna be fun! :)
