REVflyer
I managed to drive away without one of my "old glory" Rev kites (from the Sailwinds kitefest) this past Sunday. If anyone picked it up let me know and we'll work out the details of delivery or pick-up. Additionally, both Jim Cosca and I noticed an extensive amount of loose flying spider silk in the air that day, so much so that it wound-up sticking to our flying lines, even catching on ourselves as we flew! The bridles became covered with the loose silk such that the black lines looked silver-gray instead, at the end of the day. I guess the spiders were using the silk strands to carry them to a new locations. Each of 'em riding dozens of feet in length of silk (vertically, floating across the sky), flying all over the darn place, simply amazing. I have never seen anything like this before in all my years of outdoor activities!
