cordura kite sleeves

Recommended Posts

Hi gang,

My little misses is looking for the those heavy duty cordura kite sleeves that some high-end sport kites are delivered in. She has quite an extensive collection of Scott Hampton's critters and banners. These sleeves provide good protection for her prized ground display pieces.

My only problem is where can I find these darn things?

They are available in a couple of different sizes, (like 50 inches and 70+ inches, I believe). We have them in a Blue and Red, might be interested in other colors as well ,if available. The sleeves seal with Velcro and the bag is very sturdy and durable.

You can PM me at lamastep at mail dot nih dot gov

or post on line

Any assistance would place my wife in your debt. That probably means a great sandwich and beverage next time we bump heads together on the field. I'm not braggin' when I tell you a "Barbara lunch" is known across the country either!

Paul,

I'm not looking at one right now, but I think they have a tag inside, "MD", and believe it is a 'manufacturer' out of ?New England?? Just checked my favorites list and am missing it right now - it's early, OK? Might be more like a 'cottage industury'

Jon Trennepohl/Sky Burner Kites still uses these, so call him and say Hi for me as well!

Finally got to the store, and found one!

M.L.D. Associates, Made in the USA, PO Box 2046, York Beach, ME 03910, (207)363-1500

So, Paul and Aerochic - hope this is the one you want. As I recall, they could make them to your size also.
