Ang arrived about 1 pm and sadly, the beach was somewhat crowded so she wound up flying quite a bit down the beach from me, too bad... It's tough with a bunch of SLK's and "Sunday fliers". They have no regard for the area that we're flying and would walk right through my flight paths and then stop to look...in between me and the kite; it was crazy... Oh, well...next week will make up for it! It was a beautiful day, so it's all good!!! Ant, I didn't use your technique. I'll wait 'til next week so you can show me again...thanks.... The only shot of his "eyes", though, proves how mighty Revs truly are...they can hold their own against the biggest SLK's.... . Well, my dad sadly lost one of his single line kites to the ocean and we sang "cume by ah" as it sailed away. Then one of my single line kite decided to go chasing after it (after the line snapped about 30 seconds after my dad's kite's line snapped), but luckily I didn't have as much line let out and it landed in the ocean close enough to get. So I ran in the water with shoes, socks, and pants. THAT was fun. ANyway, I'm looking forward to better flying in Wildwood because Belmar sand isn't really nice. YUK! It got stuck in all of my end caps and it pummelled my face because it was so windy. oh well. Lesson learned; don't mess with the winds.
