The New TRINFINITY String-art REV 1.5 design is now completed and in the hands of "Los Hermanos Show Kites" for printing. The skins should be arriving in mid-November at Revolution Kites for completion. They are expected to be ready for delivery by the end of the month, just in time for Christmas. Lolly has just made this announcement on the NEW Hakuhata REV design that will be available in March. Hi Family, A while ago, my friend in Japan, Toru Hakuhata came up with an amazing design. At that time, sewing the sail would have been crazy. The more we talked about it, the more a printed sail made perfect sense. With the files and help from our very own John Mitchell (Rev Wizard), we are able to present this new series of sails. We are calling this honeycomb art, the Spots. You have the original art from Hakuhata in the Sun Spots and the Moon Spots. Check these out ! We are excited !! As always, these will be done in limited numbers. Over the years I have been researching the manufacturing history of all the Revolution kites. At present, as time permits, I am creating a web site within my own web site, to make most of this information available to you. It will disclose information only on those Revolution kites manufactured with "maybe" some information on prototypes that led to the manufactured kite. Do not expect to find any confidential information. During my research I did acquire very helpful information from the Hadzicki family and Ben D'Antonio. So please be patient as I work on the web site. Now, here is a teaser.

The Revolution crew were at the San Diego Kite Club meeting today with their latest creation. Revolution said I could talk about! Ben says they will be accept orders for ZEN somewhere around the end of this month. What is ZEN? ZEN is the latest in the REV series. As I understand it, it is designed for the low 1 to 3 MPH wind range and I believe it after flying it. It appears to be a cross between a REV I and REV 1.5 JB Pro. I would say it is a REV 1.5 JB Pro scaled up to a REV I size. It has the same panel layout as the REV 1.5 JB Pro. The rods used are still a secret, however I could imagine that they are in are in the area of the Race and Silver Bullet rods. It is not designed for higher winds or tricks as I was informed by Ben when I started to give it a workout. How does it fly? The sail loads constantly in all parts of the wind window just like a REV 1.5 JB Pro, with less wind. As expected due to it's size, it is slower then the 1.5. In comparison to a REV I, it is much quicker responding. Precise? You thought the REV I was precise. This beats the socks off the REV I. Do I have a picture? No, not today. Maybe next time. Maybe one of the other guys has a picture for you.

The REV II Classic was produced from 1990 to 1996 only having the curved logo. The sail design was the same as the Neos Omega and the first REV I being only three panels. As far as I have been able to determine, the logo was always black and always curved.
