  1. Received the DVD from Dave today... I had just purchased a 1.5 SUL Phantom from Dave a couple of weeks ago so I called him and asked for the DVD. I think the DVD will be helpful, it has a few good practice maneuvers I can't wait to try. Nothing on low wind flying. I guess that will come later on for me.
  2. Thanks guys, I really do appreciate your input. I'm sure it will help me to learn the Rev better. I guess it's all about practice... practice...practice. Thanks again, Mark
  3. Thanks for the offer REVflyer. I called Revolution and Lolly is sending me a copy. I know that going out and doing is the best training... but I thought that the DVD might give me a few hints to keep in mind and maybe cut down the learning curve a little. I am a first year Rev flyer so any help I can get is great. I fly inland in the worst winds so I'm thinking that on those days when there is little to no winds I might be able to fly. (we'll see). Thanks for the input guys, Mark
  4. Hello, I was wondering how I might get a copy of this DVD I saw it mentioned in the Flying Techniques section of the forum. If anyone has any info on this please reply or email me at lmoaks@yahoo.com. Thanks, Mark
  5. Hey Guys, Does anyone know where I might get a copy of the Revolution kites Light wind Technique DVD?? You can email me if anyone has any info on this. Thanks, Mark lmoaks@yahoo.com

  8. Hi Guys, I'm looking for other flyers in Central Mass. and also places to fly in the area. I have only been flying since last summer and these inland winds don't give me the chance to learn much. Thanks for any info, Mark
  9. I called Lolly yesterday and she is sending me the DVD. Once again the service from Revolution above and beyond . Thanks!
  10. Hi Guys, I picked up a used Super Blast for a good price the other day but it comes with the VHS tape. I don't have one of those anymore nor do I know anyone that does. I was wondering if anybody might have a copy on DVD that they don't need anymore or know of a place I can pick one up? Thanks, Mark
  11. So I ended up buying a used Super Blast for a good price. If it works well in the low winds here or not ... I'm sure it will be a lot of fun when the winds are a bit better. Thanks all for your replys. Mark
  12. Hey guys, Thanks for your replys, Right now I'm flying a 1.5 and a B-Series. I live inland and the winds here are mostly 3-8 mph but are very dirty. The winds are always changing direction and speed most of the time... it takes alot to keep it in the sky. I would be flying around just fine and then the kite would just drop out of the sky. I was hoping that the Blast or Power Blast might have a little more float to keep it in the air till the wind kicks back in. Also I think it might be fun with some extra pull on the days with better wind. It is very hard to learn any technique or maneuvers in these conditions but I'm planning on getting to the beach soon... it is 1 1/2 hour drive. to the closest beach. Thanks again, Mark
  13. Hello to all, I have been around here (this forum) for a while now but this is my first post. I was wondering if anyone could tell me which would be better in lighter winds maybe 3-8 mph... the Blast or the Super/Power Blast? It looks to me that the Power Blast might be from everything that I have read but I thought maybe someone might have some first hand advice to help me decide. Thanks for any advice, Mark
