  5. I haven't had it happen to me, but have read that over time the ridges on the rods can wear small holes in the sail, the b-pros come with this fix already on them. Insignia tape is the way to go to prevent this. IMHO Michael
  6. So just got the NYM and wanted to get some insignia tape on the back where the verticals go, I'm just concerned where it runs through the venting. I'm inland so usually fly on grass BUT, if I get to the coast won't the side against the venting be sticky and pick up sand. Any thoughts on this or suggestions, I know I could cut it into sections and leave the venting bare but will the rods wear on the venting? I would prefer one piece like my other kites. let me know what you all think! Michael

  14. I have several tails I've made from Tyvek, 35'x1" and painted to match my kites, I use Velcro dots and put one right in the middle, Kids love chasing the tail at the park, and if they catch it no worries, pulls right off.

  19. Just acquired a T300? Is that a rev1? still got the clips on the bridle and hog rings in the end caps! hasn't been flown much sail is still crisp. I guess my question is can you buy new bridles for these? Also will regular endcap replacements work on this. I scored big on this deal, the Rev, 5 foils(never flown one), 3 slks, and a big Peter Powell dualie for 50.00, couldn't pass it up all in great shape. Thanks in advance for the info. Michael
