Looks like playtime in the fountain again, I for one can't wait. Lito and Nathan, hope you guys can make it, maybe we can get Gail and Randall to come out to play............................... Bob
  5. Jonesey, South Port Park would be a good option, its a nice big place to fly that's only minutes from any of the theme parks. You can let me know when the time comes and we could arrange for the "East meets West in Orlando, International Fun Fly" to happen. Sounds like a blast, I'm ready to go.................................... Bob
  6. Welcome to the forum Nathan. Looking forward to our next road trip. Did you see your water shot from Jays pics. Bob

  10. OK its ON, Jay, Kelly, Bob, Cheryl and Star (West Coast) are meeting Chef and Denny (East Coast) and the Orlando boys and girls at South Port Park in Orlando on Sat August 23 for some fun in the sun. Lets get as many Florida flyers as we can to meet up and truly make this a statewide fly. South Port park is located right next to the Orlando Airport so its not hard to find. It will be an all day event so show up when you can. Even if your not from FL but are in the area come on out. Bob
  11. Thanks everyone, Feeling much better today. Sure sucks getting older, I'm running out of parts left to remove. Yes, Baloo it was a keyhole job, although most of the day Friday and Saturday I felt like I got hit by a truck. Fortunately for everyone on the beach the scars are above, so no more bikinis for me. Bob
  12. Hurry up, there's a big hole in the line up where the red kite should be............................... Bob
  13. Jeremy, Please come on out, In fact anyone who would like to join us is more than . It would be our pleasure to help anyone learn how to fly. Don't worry about your skill level as we have everything from beginners (less than 20 flights) to an expert (old man Jay) on the beach and everyone has a great time. Its always about having fun...... more people = more fun. We are always at the same spot on Treasure Island, just south of the south walkway bridge to the beach from the free parking lot. Just look for the burgandy easy-ups and the blue and green Rev banner (oh, and the baby revs). Our usual setup Where We Play Just google The Windjammer Hotel in TI to get directions as the parking lot is on the south end of the hotel. Just PM me so we can exchange cells and feel free to call anytime to find out whats going on...... Bob & Cheryl
  14. yes that day was a blast, looking forward to making this a weekly event........................ Ahh.....the baby revs: A short story. It seems that no matter how big our beach is, or hard we try to park our kites out of everyone's way, there are always a few people who seem to want to walk right through our kite lines. Rather than see someone trip, get hurt or cause damage to our babies as they rest on the beach (they get pretty tired from the workouts we give them), Cheryl, Jay and I decided we needed a way to let people know that the lines were there (without having to say Please watch the kite lines to everyone). After all we didn't want to make that saying a TI version of "Watch the Tram Car Please". So one weekend Cheryl And I put our heads together, went to work and VIOLA, 24 baby revs were born. This solution has worked like a charm, and they're cute too. Here's some more pics................ Bob & Cheryl
