Bohart

awindofchange

Ron Bohart is a fairly new artist to the Revolution family, but is no stranger to custom applique designs. His technique and attention to detail is unmatched in the kiting world. On some of his large single line parafoil sleds, he has some images that are brilliantly stunning in the air and even more amazing up close. He has been known to actually layer colors of ripstop on top of each other to achieve the desired colors and shadowing. If you can, zoom into the lion's face and you can get a glimpse of his craftsmanship and attention to detail. Just an FYI, nothing on the kite is printed or painted, it is 100% applique, even the shadowing on the lion's face....look closely at the face of the Lion again and you will realize the work that had to be done.

One of the most interesting things he has done with his Rev Masterpieces is design the kite so that it can be viewed in all its beauty while hovering upside down as well. The Zebra is actually sewn in upside down while the Lion is right side up. No matter which way the Rev is, there is something beautiful to look at.
