Reverse Horizontal Slide Thingy

So far - I just love that Reverse Horizontal Slide Thingy. I am working doing a large circle in reverse - but its hard not to dip a wing. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. (notice the shadow in the pic as I hover) Too bad the person taking the pictures had their camera in timestamp mode. Anyone know how to erase it?
