Flying my new Mesh Rev

It's Thanksgiving Day, we've been fed and it was time for a nap, however I decided I wanted a little time with my new Mesh Rev. The winds had been around 20 mph for at least an hour and I wanted some air time. I grabbed my photographer and headed down to the beach. I was a bit uneasy with the gustiness of the breeze, however I figured the "ventedness" of this kite would do okay. After the West Coast to East Coast Redeye

Arrived in Wilmington, NC after an all night flight. Picked up the rental car and headed to our hotel at Wrightsville Beach. They took pity on the weary travelers and let us check in before 11am. Quick nap and we hit the beach. Ahhhhh, laboratory grade winds, 4-6 off the water with frequent Pelican flyby's. I think they freaked a couple of times by the big yellow/black B-series. Packing day

So, after finding out about great new flying field in our area, thanks Walt and Bazzer, we awoke to a beautiful fall day. Sun, light breeze and reasonable temperatures. But we're headed to North Carolina tonight so no flying kites this afternoon. This will be my first flight with my new Prism hardcase. It's packed with my B-series Vented and standard.
