stryker2
Anyone know where I can have a custom sail made for my REV 1.5 SLE? Thanking you in advance Steve
0 KiteLife
The only way to have custom sails made... Far as I know: 1) Order them directly through Revolution (i.e. the Gibians, etc). 2) Order a solid color sail from Rev, and have someone do applique work on it. Patents, copyrights and such. Personally, I like the assurance of a true Revolution...
0 antman
i too want all white sails for either the exp or 1.5 it would really be cool if i could get all white sails for a shockwave or blast i want to paint my own designs and if i get this chance ill show you all my work
0 KiteLife
You can order them, Rev is familiar with doing all white sails.
0 antman
great do you know roughly what they cost (any model) im waiting for lolly to e mail me back
0 stryker2
Just received my custom REV 1.5 and thrilled with my decision to order without the mylar panels. Now I'm looking to get a vented version to ad to my new collection I'm now having the difficult decision of choosing between getting a vented 1 or 1.5 Â (for those slightly windier days) for my next REV addition. (15 to 28 mph winds) Not much information on the vented REV 1's, so I'm assuming this is not a model flown by many. Perhaps that's that's just my misconception. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
0 ilh
One pro for getting a vented 1.5 is you can swap in your non-vented 1.5 frame(s) and have more flexibility with respect wind speed. That's what I decided to do.  I should have a custom vented 1.5 coming soon.  That will give me  vented and non-vented sails and about 3-4 frames to mix and match.  I love this flexibility with Revs. --Lee

0 Zee
Whats the extra cost involved with getting a custom coloured one? If its not to much i might think about getting a custom Rev B-series....Is that possible?

If your interested, Kite Connection of Huntington Beach in California has in stock, custom colours on his Rev 1.5 custom.
0 ilh
I have a custom 1.5 SUL due any day now, and previously bought a custom vented. Call or email Revolution and you might be pleasantly surprised that it isn't all that much more expensive. When I recently ordered, I asked if I could order a custom B-series and was told not for a few more months, but perhaps I misunderstood. It can't hurt to ask. Lolly is a pleasure to deal with at Revolution. Alex R, "in stock" and "custom" don't really go together, do they?

0 Morrunya
You can order them, Rev is familiar with doing all white sails. Is it just me, or wouldn't an all white sail be kind of hard to see while flying?
0 antman
watty a all white sail is wild lookin on a solid blue sky plus on a night fly it really shows well however on a cloudy day it might be a little hard
0 inkslinger
:confused!: i also was looking for a custom rev 1.5 , all black vented but was told that the center panel has to be white with the logo, can't the logo be yellow ,white or red any brite color would still stand out with a black center panel
0 ilh
They must have the center panels pre-printed black on white?
0 quadkit
It is not bad as it sounds
0 fortflyer
It is not bad as it sounds OK since its an all black sail why did they still sew it in individual panels ?? If you look closely at the black Rev you will see what I mean.
0 antman
i think it can be done as my rev stallion has a white backround with the letters coated over top . im not sure if rev did this or if it was done when jose built it look here and you ll see what i mean
0 quadkit
They work off of one pattern. Everything is pattern cut I assume.
