:blushing: You are welcome :)

I was over the other side of the arena by the orange inflatable ball (belonging to the WHKF's) which you can see on the vid.

It'll be great to see the other videos you took.

"share & enjoy".

Hi Choccy

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=wexGq_ungcw

I have uploaded another one I recorded. Quality is not good. The file is reduced from 300 odd meg down to just a few but then imagine up loading 350meg and then trying to download it, so I guess YouTube do a very good job.

If you would like a DVD with these and others videos of The Decorators I would be please to post you a copy if you PM me.

I appreciate you uploading these huge files etc.

I only have snippets of video from their first performance, so seeing the whole routine is great.

It is amazing how you get a totally different display, as I was on the other side of the arena to yourself.

Not sure how or if it would be worth trying to upload the sample I have.

It is less than 1 minute of the routine, 'cos I have to swap between video and still pic mode.

Yes, you do get a better perspective from behind the flyers but next best is where you were.

I was using my little Canon IXUS 950 to record basically for my own interest. Then I read Monkey's request for video and posted him video's on DVD. In the meantime I decided to post it on YT.

The next time I get the opportunity to see top Rev pilots I will take a better camera. I have a 3ccd camcorder which would do a better job even so the little Canon is not bad. Even better on a bright day. Re YT. Unless you have specialised equipment or a different membership, the video quality is poor. As well, next time I will be bold and get on the field behind the flyers!

Regarding your video uploading to YT. It's a good idea to convert your video to Flash. This reduces the size to a fraction or the original. And it is in the format YT needs. That is 320 x 240 and less than 100MB. The video's I uploaded were both were both about 300 MB. After conversion to Flash the size is reduced to 14MB. A big difference!

A Free conversion to Flash prog can be downloaded from http://www.dvdvideosoft.com. So give it a whirl and upload your video to YT.

This is probably off topic. :confused!:

Have a wonderful weekend at the Essex Show.

Apologies for taking this thread of topic but since the subject has been broached, I would love to see The Revolution’s current routine on Youtube. I have seen it many times in the field and have watched it through it’s development, it’s an excellent routine and deservers to be seen by a far wider audience.

If there is anybody out there with the video skills to do it justice, please do the rest of the Rev flying community a favour and do the deed.

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=jWtCKqmQ-5g You may have to copy and paste. Or search The Decorators in You tube

The quality is not great. The day was dull but the day stayed dry.

I was talking to the Decorators and I understand Bristol was the first time they had been together for a long time.

Hmm... Correct, we had not flown together since Bristol the previous year (4 person team) but really 2005 Bristol.

The ground work in the first video was well timed! The ending of the Bond piece was not anticipated correctly.

Oh well there is always next year!

Thanks for the videos

Felix
