MisterNixter
Hi everybody, my name is Nick Russell and I'm new here. My wife and I have lived and traveled fulltime in our motorhome for the last 15 years and make our living publishing the Gypsy Journal RV newspaper, and I am also the author of 15 books, including both travel books and mysteries. I recently got into kites after being introduced to Revs at the kite festival in Long Beach, WA. Then we were at a kite festival in Seaside, Oregon, where we met John Barresi and watched him flying on the beach. I joined KiteLife and was lucky enough to win a Supersonic in one of their karma drawings, and I also have a 1.5 SLE that should be delivered today. I'm looking forward to learning from all of you as I try to master my Revs.

Mike
Welcome Nick! If your travels ever take you to the Midwest, be sure to let us at IKE know. We've got a bunch of Rev fliers in our club.
Jeepster
Let's see ... RV, WSIKF, Rev kites ... then you must have met the Fosters who are also IKE members ... yes? Welcome to the forum and to flying Revs, you'll enjoy both. Cheers, Tom
Mark Thorn
Welcome Nick, Where have you anchored the RV. My first Rev was a Supersonic... I was all alone on a beach, no manual (or VHS player), and a week off to learn. Returned to the beach 4 months later for '98 WSIKF to be greeted by Penny and Elizabeth. They had a great time breaking my bad habits and really took care of me. I can't thank them enough. The start of a long Rev relationship that a surprise around every corner for 15 years. Welcome to the forum and the land of Revs. Mark Thorn
MisterNixter
Thanks everybody for the warm welcome. We are visiting my daughter in northern Arizona for a few days before heading down to Tucson. Hopefully I can find a nice park or playground that's full of cacti to fly in.
