Cashmerecasey
I just figured I would pass along this cheap somewhat protective container I bought at My local Hobby Lobby, $9.99. It's called a "expandable artwork storage tube" in the store, but fits one rev and extra set of rods with room to spare, and two revs in bags snug but still fits easily. Handles don't fit, but maybe another project can fix that. 3 1/4 diameter and 38' easy on length. I think product description says 37', buts its a little bigger.
portlandflyer
Might work for my indoor stuff, but I use a Rev bag for outdoors!!
Bobski
GREAT IDEA!! Just brought one for my 1.5 mid Vent and fits a treat. Just sling it over my back and off I go ;-). For £10 it's a great protection for my kite. Thanks!!
REVflyer
My rev bag holds this very indoor tube, easy to solo carry, but all the tools are together when I run out the door
portlandflyer
My bro-in-law was garage sale-ing one day and picked up an old multiple fishing rod holder, that I use for all my indoor kites. Think I have something like 5 kites in it. That, along with another smaller single rod holder for my wands, works really well!! Then I have an old small duffel bag for all my other indoor stuff, lines, handles, indoor sneakers, etc! For my outdoor Rev bag, I use 2 cardboard tubes to hold all of my extra rod sets. Gives them some protection from breakage and I know where they are at in my bag! Plus rolled up, it gives the bag a bit of stiffness! swannie
I've used this to take them on airplanes. Not one gives it a second look.
