RobB
I know, probably not... but I figured I'd ask. Long Island's not just developments & urban sprawl... there are actually some good places to fly ! This is where I fly...

RobB
Wayne, if I had access to a 'beaming device', we would've flown together all ready !
Dayhiker
Looks to be ideal. When I see the bag laying there I wonder what you flew after you shot the video. You would get a kick out of some of my flight locations. I seem to be specializing in parking lots lately. As I sit here in the hollow on Sugar Street I see the maple tree motioning to me to come fly. I long for some wide open spaces like your beach. You are very fortunate. I remember all the times I stood on beaches & did not have a kite to fly. That won't be the case from now on.
RobB
It is pretty close to ideal, unless you're a sand-hater ! Me, I can't stand flying on grass... but to each their own, I suppose.
Robtulloch
I fly on a "long island", in the middle of a rowing course but that doesn't really count.
RobB
Hey Rob... This 'Long Island'... You would think an island that has over 3 million people living on it would have more than 1 person who flies...
Robtulloch
Hey Rob... This 'Long Island'... You would think an island that has over 3 million people living on it would have more than 1 person who flies... I know which one you meant LOL, I've checked out where most of the regulars are from. If the missus want to do the US in a few years, I need to know where some flying friends are... East coast to west coast and the bits in between.
