Hello all!

I've posted a whole boat-load of information about the Treasure Island Sport Kite Championships (TISKC) over at the Eastern League homepage: http://easternleague.net/TISKC

Online registration is now open for TISKC, and competitors registering prior to December 15th can save a bundle by taking advantage of our reduced entry fees, or flat-rate registration for competitors flying in multiple disciplines! Register before December 15th, and the most you'll pay to compete all weekend at TISKC is just $45.00.

ALSO! We're having a series of raffles to help raise money to offset the cost of offering this fantastic competition; there are currently just 9 tickets left for a pair of Eliot Shook Revolution Mini-banners. Each $5 donation to support TISKC earns you a ticket in the banner drawing (a max of 5 tickets per person can be issued). A total number of 30 tickets will be sold, and the drawing will be held either once all the tickets are sold, or on December 7th, whichever comes first! Check out our donation page for more details: http://easternleague...nts/1006/donate

Looking forward to seeing you all on the beach in January!

A big "CONGRATULATIONS" goes out to Bob Matteo of Colorado, who was the raffle winner for the Revolution mini-banners! Thank you to everyone who supported the raffle, your generosity helps to ensure we can continue putting on quality kite competitions along the east coast.

We'll have another raffle starting later this week, Into the Wind is sending along a surprise for us!

Our next raffle item to support the 2013 Treasure Island Sport Kite Championships (TISKC) is one of my all-time favorite kites. Into The Wind have generously donated a blue Skate by Paul de Bakker for us raffle off to one lucky winner! Paul has improved on the Focus Kite Designs skate for this new ITW offering, the new skate features an adjustable bow tension line and endcaps to help keep the bow in place. The raffle includes the Skate, a nice convertible sleeve, and 100' of flying line, all from Into The Wind. I had the pleasure of flying one of the new ITW Skates earlier this year at the National Air & Space Museum fly, and it was a real crowd pleaser.

Tickets are just $10 each (max of 5 tickets per person, please), and a total of 25 tickets will be sold. All proceeds go to offset the cost of operating the TISKC event. The prize drawing will be held on or around December 23th, 2012, so don't delay! We're raffling off the blue skate pictured below, brand new and only unfolded once for this picture.

We'll have a few more raffles to run before the event itself begins, so keep checking back for details!

Also, it's a great time to sign up to compete at TISKC as well, as we're running a discounted early registration period through December 15th... Sign up early and save a bundle on competition! For all the current event details, check out http://easternleague.net/TISKC
